Spelling for Weeks 11/29/21 and 12/6/21
Words Their Way Spelling Groups
We have 5 different spelling groups in our class. Each child has a spelling sort, some with pictures, that allow children to learn how to put words in categories that are based on a specific language skill. The different groups are based off of what the student needs based off of a spelling inventory. Some students practice writing their words in their packet each day. The ten words they need to practice are the ones on the front of their packet (the ones we went over in class). If the child does not have a spelling packet they do not need to write their words daily, they just need to practice sorting in the correct categories. The buttons below state the sort your child is on incase you need an extra copy or reference.
